Executive’s Story

We haven’t always had thousands of products on the shelves, spanning the Healthcare, Industrial, Facilities and Hospitality sectors, or deliveries going all over Queensland and a buzzing team of 16 making it all happen!
Step back to the early 90’s when owner Rick Sanderson first got a taste for making customer’s happy!  It was an innovative impregnated polishing cloth that got it all rolling…and everyone loves a good quality, innovative product.  This lead to the establishment in 1997 of Executive Catering Supplies, a consumable wholesaling business run by Rick and his wife Julie from the back shed of their house with the family car as a delivery vehicle!

The variety of products and customers rapidly expanded so the name was changed to Executive Distributors.  After the purchase of another similar wholesale business in 2002, more space and more staff were needed.  A deal was done on a commercial property in town and one of Rick’s brothers came on board as the business hit the ground running faster than ever in 2003!
Executive bravely rode out the GFC of 2008, by remaining focussed on being competitive and offering good stock levels along with fast delivery as customers became more conscious of the need to streamline their supply chain.

Fast forward to 2010, another building later, and more staff on board, Executive was on the move for the third time!  This time to a purpose built 10m high warehouse in Harristown.  A major improvement to efficiencies happened in 2013 when an ERP was put in.  

2022 and we’re still kicking goals, with the same ownership, many of the original staff plus a few more lovely people.  We’re still constantly improving what we do, how we do it and searching for new and innovative products to help you out and give you the reliable, friendly service that we’re known for.
